I’ve been on the receiving end of consulting and have never enjoyed it. Swoop in, lather up the executives, poll the productive people, take their ideas and promote them as your own. Write up a solution, hand it off the the people who were going to do something good anyway, get paid. Get paid some more. And vanish. Let the productive people pick up the trash and move forward.

As an anticonsultant, I do the things consultants don’t. I listen. Spend the necessary time getting to know the organization and how it works. Understand the political and power base. Understand the role of workers in the company and inspire them. And only then do I create and innovate. And I make sure I’m there to support the reality of the solution.

I provide sustainable solutions for developing sound Web communication for online businesses, higher education, and individuals.
